Course Description:
Information presented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests that millions of Americans use anticoagulant medications. Therefore, acupuncturists should be familiar with anticoagulants. With that in mind, this course reviews some of the most commonly prescribed anticoagulants, which include: warfarin (Coumadin), apixaban (Eliquis), and enoxaparin sodium injection (Lovenox) therapy.
