Course Description
Currently, antidiscrimination laws are at the forefront of social awareness. Therefore, acupuncturists should be familiar with antidiscrimination laws, especially if they have employees and/or work for a health care organization. With that in mind, this course reviews the following essential antidiscrimination legislation: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 (ADEA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
 
Course Objectives
Explore Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
Examine the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967.
Review the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA).
