Course Description:
According to information presented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), arthritis affects approximately one in four adults in the U.S., and is one of the leading causes of disability. Additionally, data presented by the CDC suggests that the prevalence of arthritis may be on the rise. Therefore, acupuncturists should possess insight into arthritis to best serve patients in need. This course reviews concepts central to arthritis care, while highlighting arthritis treatment recommendations.
