Course Description

Information presented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) suggests that depression and substance use disorders (SUDs) are among the most common conditions in the U.S., and often occur together. Therefore, acupuncturists should be familiar with how to adequately manage patients suffering from both depression and SUDs. With that in mind, this acupuncture course provides insight into depression and SUDs, while reviewing depression/SUD management recommendations that may be used to optimize patient care.
