Course Description
Information presented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) indicates that millions of Americans have type 2 diabetes. Additional information presented by the CDC suggests that the prevalence of type 2 diabetes is on the rise. Therefore, acupuncturists should be familiar with type 2 diabetes, and how to manage type 2 diabetes. This course provides insight into type 2 diabetes, while outlining diabetes management recommendations. The information found within this course may be used to help manage type 2 diabetes, develop treatment plans for patients with type 2 diabetes, and, ultimately, improve patient outcomes.
