Course Description
Individuals suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) represent a large and growing potential patient population that requires treatment. Specializing in the treatment of PTSD can help acupuncturists build their patient population. This course reviews PTSD and PTSD treatment recommendations to provide acupuncturists with the necessary insight to effectively treat patients suffering from PTSD, while building their patient population.

Explore concepts central to recognizing patients suffering from PTSD, while obtaining insight into PTSD-related coexisting conditions and complications. 
Examine concepts related to the safe and effective administration of acupuncture to PTSD patients.
